Kids and Youth
Kids' Ministry
We believe the Church should be for all ages and it is our desire to see our ministry to children and families grow. As a result, children and their families are very welcome at our Church and at any of our services. During term time we run a Sunday morning kids program (Explorer Kids) on alternate weeks at our Warkworth and Matakana churches. See below for more details.

Explorer Kids
Explorer Kids is a fun Sunday morning program of songs, games, teaching and activities for children ages 5 to 10. Our regular Explorer Kids program runs during terms time at Christ Church Warkworth every 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month at 9.30am during the family service; and at St Leonard's in Matakana every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month, at 9:30am. Explorer Kids will start again in February 2024 (11 February for the first Sunday in Matakana and 18 February for the first Sunday in Warkworth).
Arts4Kids
Arts4Kids is a free, fun 5-week after school program of creativity and activity. Run in Warkworth (Mondays and Tuesdays) and Matakana (Wednesdays).
Arts4Kids will start up again in February 2024. For more information, contact Nina at children@warkworthanglican.nz.
Warkworth Anglican Youth
Wayfarers is our youth group for intermediate and high school age kids in and around the Parish. We meet from time to time for some games, discussion and pizza (probably quite a lot of pizza).
