Kids and Youth

Kids' Ministry

We believe the Church should be for all ages and it is our desire to see our ministry to children and families grow. As a result, children and their families are very welcome at our Church and at any of our services. During term time we run a Sunday morning kids program (Explorer Kids) on alternate weeks at our Warkworth and Matakana churches. See below for more details.

Explorer Kids

Explorer Kids is a fun Sunday morning program of songs, games, teaching and activities for children ages 5 to 11. Our regular Explorer Kids program runs during term time at Christ Church Warkworth every Sunday at 9.30am during the family service.
Explorer Kids will start again on 1st February 2026.

Arts4Kids

Arts4Kids is a free, fun 5-week after-school program of creativity and activity. Runs in Warkworth on Mondays and Tuesdays and Matakana on Wednesdays.

Arts4Kids will start up again in mid-February 2026.

Youth Bible Study Group

This is for 9 to 13-year-olds! During term time we meet on Mondays 5pm to 6:30pm in the WW Anglican Hall. We have games, bible study/discussion and dinner! It’s a great time for our Youth to connect!
